Speaking of a green world, it wouldn't be too colorful without the waters. And of course, water nurtures life. Water is life. And this planet needs water to survive.
Water comes in many bodies. I am very blessed to come from a country with thousands of islands - naturally, we are surrounded by seas! We got rivers and lakes too, brooks and ponds. But we all sure love beaches here!
We have beaches in abundance. A lot! When going out to swim, the question is always: "Where are we going to?" "Which beach?" We don't really fret about what to wear, but we sure would always want somewhere new, some beach we haven't explored before.
And so one day I was able to enjoy this one - without really preparing! I was wearing what I wore the night before. We had a Retreat and the next day, we did a "Prayer Walk". My friends and I prayed as we explored the island, gazing at God's wonderful creations - so green and alive! We continued until we reached the beach, so quiet yet so roaring!
The sun too - seemed to pray in silence. It was a quiet morning, the only sounds were the heavy, crashing waves and the early birds. And how perfect! How delightful to bask in God's beauty and feel your senses so alive!
I am truly looking forward to my next beach walk. :)
